Founded in 2020 by Laurian Wright, the company identified a gap in the pet accessories market for products that combine style, practicality, and quality craftsmanship. The funding will enable Fauna to expand its product range, strengthen marketing activity, purchase inventory, and hire new talent to support its ambitious growth plans.

Fauna’s mission is to redefine pet ownership by offering products that are as aesthetically refined and durable as contemporary homeware and fashion. Its design-first approach focuses on form, function, and sustainability, with a curated range that includes dog walking bags, ceramic bowls, apparel, and select items from independent brands.

The company also champions ethical practices, donating 5% of profits from its flagship products to the Dogs Trust Freedom Project and fostering a loyal community of ‘Faunatics’ through early access to launches and exclusive benefits.

Since its launch, Fauna has attracted a growing base of design-conscious, urban pet owners with above-average disposable income. However, to meet rising demand and compete in a premium market, the business needed to scale quickly. Developing new products, increasing marketing reach, and building inventory required significant investment resources that were not readily available internally.
